How many tables?
Move the slider: Mzya counts the tables the way your venue does. Ten seats per table to start, changed to suit the venue.
Seats per table
For 120 guests: 12 tables of 10.
Couple's table
In the app, each family stays at one table, and each table can have its own shape and size.
Seating families
- Keep each family at the same table, or at neighbouring tables if it is large.
- Seat grandparents and elders near the couple's table, away from the speakers.
- Put families who know each other together, and children near their parents.
- Leave room for the band, the buffet, the dance floor and the amariya's path.
- If your family seats women and men apart at some celebrations, make one plan per celebration.
How many seats per table?
Ask the venue for its table sizes: round tables of 8 to 12, long tables, a U. The calculator starts at 10 seats, which many venues offer; change it to match yours.
On the day
Give the plan to the venue and caterer the day before, and hand a copy to the person welcoming guests.
